NOËLLE YOCHUM

Noëlle is a research technician working with the Collaborative Fisheries Research Program. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2003 where she majored in Biology and was involved in several research projects at the SCRIPPS Institution of Oceanography. After completing her undergraduate degree, she taught Math in Sacramento, CA before entering a masters program at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (College of William and Mary) in 2004. Her masters project was to model the size-selectivity of the commercial Atlantic sea scallop dredge. She obtained her masters degree in Marine Science (Fisheries) in December 2006. In addition to her work at the lab, Noëlle spends her spare time traveling as much as possible, at the beach and in the mountains.
