CAMP SEA LAB

Camp SEA Lab is a unique marine science education program, emphasizing hands-on activities designed to motivate and excite youth about our oceans, conservation, and science. SEA Lab campers are exposed to the wonders of the marine world as they are guided on a discovery of Monterey Bay’s rich natural resources.

The major goals of Camp SEA Lab are to:

• Ensure future stewardship of coastal and ocean resources.

• Encourage recruitment and enhance diversity in the ocean sciences and technology.

• Provide a model for community involvement in ocean science education.

• Prepare youth to make sound decisions about their careers and educational paths.

• Provide youth with first hand knowledge and experience in ocean science and technology.
